sometimes life is brutal

Hey everyone! So, I had another idea for a blog series. Sometimes I tend to start a series and never finish it, but I am going to work on trying to actually finish each series I start from now on.

Every week I post three to four blog posts. I post piano cover on Tuesday's, and usually post regular blog posts Thursday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's.

Recently with school going on, I haven't really stuck to that whole schedule as well, but I feel like if I write blog posts every weekend, I could really keep my schedule in order. I enjoy writing blog posts, and I want to keep doing it. It's just that recently I've been a little slow with getting blog posts out.

You probably already know, but I love music. I've been finding new artists to listen to, and have been listening to albums a lot lately it seems. I mean, Sabrina Carpenter is coming out with an album soon and I can not wait for that! I just love listening to songs and learning all the lyrics so I can sing along every time I hear a song.

In July, I posted a piano cover of the whole SOUR album, but shortened. I was very proud of that, so check it out if you haven't please: https://miribrooks1.wixsite.com/quoted/post/sour-a-piano-cover

I have also done several Olivia Rodrigo piano covers, and still plan on doing some more of songs from the SOUR album.

All my Olivia Rodrigo piano covers if you want to check them out...

With all that being written, my new blog post series is going to be using song titles to write blog posts! I'm starting with the SOUR album, and then I plan on doing Riley Clemmons album Godsend. Stay tuned!! I'm going to try to post a new part every week, and I'm going to continue the "why you should watch this show" series. There will most likely be extra posts on Sunday's. We'll see how everything goes.

Because the first song in the album is Brutal, today I'm going to write about why life is sometimes brutal, and how we can get through brutal days.

Sometimes life is brutal, and I get it. There are days when we just want to stop living. But, through all the hard days, we can never give up. Why should you not give up? Why? Because there is so much more to life than the brutal days. There is so much more to live for.

Think of your favorite thing to do in your free time. Mine involves reading, writing, The Vampire Diaries, music...Think of all the things you are excited for, but have to be patient for. Mine involves my room being finished, and Quoted being published (coming soon)....

There is so much more for you to live for. There is no reason to dwell on the hard days when God has planned so many more good things for your life. The good always cancels out the bad. Always.

There will never be a time when life will end with the bad. Unless you bring that on yourself. Unless you let yourself dwell in stress and every mistake you make.

Don't live your life ready to give up, or saying that you've already done too many bad things and you're going to go to hell. You always have a choice to turn your life around.

You don't have to let your days be bad. You don't have to live your life cursing others and disobeying God. You always have a choice to turn your life around and follow God's path. His path is so much better than yours. Forever and always...You are so loved. So, when life seems brutal, remember these truths. Remember all the things you have to be excited for. Remember how many amazing things God has planned for you. Listen to Him and let Him lead you down the right path. Have a blessed day! ~Ella
