Welcome to blogmas day fifteen! Today, I actually have a video I made of my Grandma and I making hot cocoa bombs, and I also will show you the recipe we used in case you would like to make some of your own.
If you didn't already know, hot cocoa bombs are basically instant hot cocoa, but cooler. Watch the video below, and then look at the recipe to find out how we made them!
Video made with Kinemaster; cover photo made with canva.com
Step-by-step how to make hot cocoa bombs:
Melt almond chocolate bark, then put at least three layers in 2" sphere mold, let chocolate dry in between each layer.
Once the almond bark has dried, gently pop each sphere mold of chocolate out of the mold
Rub some of the chocolate from one of the sphere molds onto a plate for later use in attaching both chocolate pieces together to make a full sphere
Fill the chocolate sphere half with desired ingredients, and you can also add marshmallows on top of your cocoa. 2" molds don't fit both cocoa and marshmallow
Then, take the other half of your molds and melt the rough edges, or use some melted to chocolate to put on the edge of the mold. Then seal both pieces together.
When you have completed them, you can add chocolate, sprinkles, or something else to decorate the top!
To use your hot cocoa bomb, heat up some milk for about 2 minutes, then place you cocoa bomb in the milk and watch it dissolve/melt, and the marshmallows should pop up at the top of the mug!
That's basically how you make hot cocoa bombs! I did not come up with that recipe, it was found online. Below is a link to another recipe if you would like to read it:
If you have any questions, feel free to comment below! Or you could look up the recipe. I hope you enjoyed the video, and thanks for checking out blogmas day fifteen! Come back tomorrow for the next blogmas post! ~Ella
