Last Thursday I shared with you the first part to this new blog series. I tried to convince you to watch Soy Luna in part one, and today I'm going to give you reasons why you should watch The Vampire Diaries. Without further ado, let's just get into it!

So, The Vampire Diaries has vampires, witches, and wolves in it. The show is about a high schooler, Elena Gilbert, who lost her parents in a car accident. In the first season, she meets Stefan Salvatore, and falls in love with him. She also meets Stefan's brother, Damon Salvatore. As the show goes on, Elena soon realizes that Stefan is keeping secrets, and she's determined to figure out why. That's the only explanation I can give you for this show right now. There is so much more to it, but I don't want to spoil anything!
Why you should watch The Vampire Diaries:
1. (Just to be clear, this show is completely different from Soy Luna. It does have some bad words in it, not many, and maybe some parts you might want to skip over. So, be aware of that.) The Vampire Diaries is a really interesting show. As soon as you start watching it, you will immediately want to know what is going to happen next. This is for sure one of the shows I found myself binge-watching during quarantine in twenty-twenty. By the way, I recommend watching The Vampire Diaries before Legacies, and of course before The Originals. I watched Legacies first, which was okay, but it's probably better to start off with TVD.
2. This show has eight seasons! So, if you ever find yourself in quarantine again, or just with a lot of extra time on hand, binge-watching it is..! (:
3. The Vampire Diaries has the best ending to the show! Plus, one of my now favorite songs came from the last episode of this show. Hold On by Chord Overstreet is a REALLY good song!!
4. The acting in this show is phenomenal! Like, imagine how many hours these people had to put into this show? And, there was probably a lot of editing done too!
5. Amazing actors like Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Chris Woods..are in this show.
Fun fact:
Ian Somerhalder, who plays Damon, married Nikki Reed who played Rosalie in Twilight.
