The Train Wreck of Love

Today we have something that Ella, my friend, wrote! If you haven't seen her other blog post yet, you can find it right here: https://miribrooks1.wixsite.com/quoted/post/don-t-miss-out-on-god-s-plan-for-you

So, this is kind of a mixture between a poem and short story. I really like it! Below is what she wrote:

Love is like a train wreck. You want to ignore every possibility of it ever happening to you, but suddenly, the world crashes. The worst feeling of it though, is when he doesn't like you back. You never wanted it to happen, but then it did. You wish and pray that you could just get rid of the wonderful feeling that you have every time you see him. You don’t even want a boyfriend, but you just can’t fight the hormones that rage inside of you with delight every moment you’re with him. The worst days are when you don’t see him. They go by slower. You want it to go away, but it is just impossible. He is your other half of everything. Heart, mind, and soul. You despise him for it. But when you see his face, all those feelings diminish. It’s like you’re in heaven, walking on clouds, when you’re with him. But good things never last for long. You see the love sparks in his eyes, when he looks at another girl. You already didn’t like her. But that just made you despise her more. With her long auburn hair, and big dirty mouth, she is the definition of trouble. But he doesn't think you know anything. Forget your disapproving looks. He is still head over heels in love with this girl. Apparently you're not his type. Even though you and him fit together like a puzzle in every way. You make one, together. He doesn't see that. Your feelings mean nothing to him. One day he might remember you. One day, he might feel sorry he didn’t give you a chance. And one day, you might find a man who appreciates you. One day, he might be gone forever from your mind, and you won’t think about him anymore, and he might slowly fade away from your memory. Right now though, you're stuck on the train wreck of love. -Ella (not me the other Ella (: )

What she wrote is mysterious, but at the same time very true! I think it is very interesting. Also, I'm thinking about starting a new series soon. It will probably be a lot of different Bible studies. Anyway, thank you for writing this Ella! ~Ella
