The Full Picture

Today I want to write about a Bible verse. We are going to be looking at Romans 3:23.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

When you read this verse, you aren't seeing the whole picture. All you are seeing is part of the truth. That Bible verse states that all sin, but that's not all. Look at the next verse:

and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Now do you see the bigger picture? The first verse makes it sound like we are so sinful that we are headed the wrong way, but God's grace has saved us, and we can follow Him. Forget about sin.

This is short, but I saw something the other day that made me want to write this. The main idea of this post is: Look at the bigger picture. Don't just look at one thing when there is more to it. Both of these verses go together, and you get the wrong idea if you only look at the first verse.
