Sometimes You Just Feel Like Crying

Sometimes, I feel very discouraged and sad. Most of the time it's over nothing, but turns into being over everything. The past, and present. I've found that sometimes, I just have to cry. Crying for me gets everything out, then I'm ready to pull myself back up and be strong. I'm ready to tell myself I can do it, and then it's time to listen to worship music. Worship music always makes me feel better! It gets me wanting to dance and sing and worship the one who made me. I can remember the times I've had a bad day, then started crying and worrying about first me, then maybe my friend, then I'll go to worrying about the world. This world is a sad place, but only when you're looking at it with a negative view. Why am I sharing all of this, you may wonder, because writing makes me feel better. I can get my feelings on paper, and sometimes I like to share how I feel. Hi there. I may know you, or you may be a stranger, but we are children of God all the same. Today, tonight, whenever you are reading this, I want you to remember this: It's okay to cry, let it all out, but don't forget that God is here for you, and your family, friends are here for you. It might feel good to share how you feel with someone. It's okay if you aren't ready to share your feelings with someone, but always tell God how you feel. I love sharing my feelings with God. It makes me feel better just talking to Him out loud. Talking to God in my head just doesn't work. There are too many thoughts and stuff in my head, and it's easy to get distracted. Out loud is better, even if you can't see Him, He is there. Don't give up, and stay strong friend. You can do it!

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9

Be ready to read more posts like this one. Raw and real. I didn't come up with this entry idea, but just felt discouraged, and I thought writing would make me feel better. Now I'm ready to do this! (I feel much better writing. Find something that will make you feel better too. :)

Thanks for reading! Stay strong you guys! You can do this!
