"Have you ever seen someone so excited about reading?" Kathy asked her sister Emily one day. She had just come home from her friend's house, and was lying on the couch watching T.V. "And, get this. She was going on and on about this new book coming out by her favorite author. I don't understand how she could be so interested in books. They are so boring and just a waste of paper."
Emily looked at her sister and said, "Don't be rude, Kathy. A lot of people love reading, and besides, I thought you girls were best friends? You don't sound much like a friend right now. If you loved to read, I can't imagine how you would feel if your friend was hating on what you loved."
"True," Kathy sighed, "I just wish she didn't always have a book with her. When we are driving somewhere together, she always has her nose in a book, and won't talk to me."
Kathy's big sister nodded, "That's sounds like it would be hard to talk to her if she always had her nose in a book. Maybe you should try reading to. That would make you both have something to do when you are going somewhere."
I just felt like writing something, and that story came out of nowhere.. I'm currently working on the last bit of my book, and hope to get it finished and out by the end of this year. Yeah, I have no idea what this story is, but I hope it was interesting anyway.
