I LOVE READING // so here's what I read in November

Hey there and welcome back to my blog! Today I'm here to share with you everything I read in November!

November was a pretty slow reading month, so I didn't get to read as much as I wanted, but I think I'll still be able to reach my reading goal! My reading goal went from 200 books to 120 books.

I read 6 books in November

1. Flawless (Pretty Little Liars #2): by Sara Shepard- finished November 2nd

It feels like it's been such a long time since I've read this book. I remember I started it in class one day, and ended up reading it over like two weeks only at school. I tend to do that often when I'm reading a really big book that won't fit in my backpack.

So far I'm not sure how I feel about the Pretty Little Liars book series, but I feel like it will get better as I keep going. I really enjoyed the prequel more than the first two books...but hopefully some of the next books I read in this series have more of a plot than just a storyline.

2. Fracture Me (novella #2.5): by Tahereh Mafi- finished November 6th

I also read the second novella in the Shatter Me series in November. If you didn't know, this series is a mix of dystopian and fantasy, with some romance of course.

I'm on Team Warner, but this novella is from Adam's point of view, and that was interesting to read! I'm excited to continue this series hopefully next month!

3. The Wicked King (book two of The Cruel Prince trilogy): by Holly Black- finished November 11th

While I was in the middle of reading this book, I was also in the middle of reading two very fat books, so this book quickly lost my interest in the midst of the other books I was reading...and I don't know....it just wasn't that great.

I really liked The Cruel Prince, don't get me wrong, but The Wicked King just felt boring. I felt like there wasn't a lot of plot, and I was just bored.

4. The Beauty of Darkness (The Remnant Chronciles #3): by Mary E. Pearson- finished November 20th

This was the first big book I started reading this month. Hence why it took me two weeks to read it....well that was mostly because of school...but whatever.

This trilogy has been so good and so fun to read! I highly recommend it if you love fantasy and princesses and princes!

And I loved the ending of this one! I'm just really glad I read this series overall.

5. Keeper of the Lost Cities (Stellarlune #9): by Shannon Messenger- finished November 23rd

I've been waiting for this book for the whole year, and I'm so glad that it's finally out and that I finally got to read it.

I did run to Barnes and Noble the day it came out to get it, and I did think that the first 400 pages were a bit slow. But THE END. THE END was completely worth everything! Team Foster-Keefe always wins.

6. Lightlark: by Alex Aster- finished November 28th

When I first heard about this book, I got really excited to read it! It looked so interesting, and apparently a movie is being made for it to, so that's always exciting!

And, I wasn't disappointed at all. I highly highly recommend this book. It's a really good fantasy book! I love it, and I ended up giving it five stars!!

And that's going to conclude my reading wrap-up for November! I didn't read as much as I wanted to this month, but I have a feeling that I'll make up for that in December. I'll have more free time and that means more reading time!

Either way, I read some really good books this month. I think my favorite would probably have to be...Stellarlune. All I have to write for that is iykyk...because I can't spoil it, but Stellarlune is stellar.

Okay, I think that's going to conclude this blog post! I hope you'll check out some of these books. Stay tuned because the last reading wrap-up of this year is going to be the most exciting because I'll be sharing how many books I read this year, and my favorite book I read each month. And I'll also compare the amount of books I read this year to last years.

Thanks for reading! (I promise I will continue the short story Finding Nora, but I got really busy so I might wait until the new year to continue it. More chapters are coming though! And...stay tuned because I have something exciting in the works 😉~Ella
