Welcome back to The Quoted Blog! Today, I want to share with you five things you should try doing this summer. All of these things are very creative, as I'm a creative person. These are pretty much my top five favorite things to do!
1. writing songs/playing piano- I have only shared like four songs I have written with you, but I have definitely written a lot more. I started writing songs this year after hearing Annie Rose's songs she has been writing lately. She inspired me to start writing songs. I love her music so much, and I can't wait to hear more from her!
2. reading a thriller/mystery book- Oh my goodness! So, if you know me, you know I love reading, but thriller/mystery books hit different than any book you will ever read. This summer, I got a lot of new books like that, and have been obsessed with them. I read those books in like three days because they are just so interesting.
3. watching shows/YouTube- Right now, my favorite shows are Soy Luna, and Manifest. And, my current YouTubers have been a mix between Caroline Manning, Annie Rose, Julia K. Crist, Madilyn Miller, and Mia Stephens. I watch YouTube pretty much every day so there might be more YouTuber's I watch from day to day.
4. making birthday presents for friends- I really enjoy making gifts for friends instead of buying them. Currently, I have been working on a gift for someone and it's been really fun! (I can't say who the present is for because they may or may not read this.)
5. writing short stories/journaling- I have written so many short stories, and I love it. There are actually several short stories in my book, Quoted. (Coming soon...) Also, I love journaling! I keep several journals, but in my main one I write about days of my life. It's a good idea to keep a journal so you can have something to look back on, and you can remember some memories from the past.
