Recently, Haley Pham as been posting books she read on her vlog channel. I've been really enjoying watching her videos, and as you know, I share what I read each month.
So, with that being written, here's what I read in August.
1. Orphan Monster Spy- by Matt Killeen: finished August 16th
2. Orbiting Jupiter- by Gary D. Schmidt: finished August 25th
So, I was not on my reading game this month, and that's okay. With school going on, and taking piano lessons, I have had other things as my first priority. I really wish I could go buy a bunch of new books so I can get excited about getting back into reading. I've been very sad that I haven't had as much time for it. It's one of my favorite things to do, and only reading in the morning and night isn't enough for me.
Yeah, hopefully I can get some good books soon. But, for now, my favorite book from this month was probably Orphan Monster Spy.
I had such a hard time choosing my favorite book this month. There's some things I like about both books, and some things I didn't like.
For example, I didn't like one of the characters at the end of Orphan Monster Spy, and I didn't like the way Orbiting Jupiter ended. It was just sad.
That's how I feel about the books I read this past month. Hopefully I will be able to read more books this month. It just makes me happier. I don't know, maybe I'm trying to reach high standards, but I love reading a lot of books every month.
That's all I have to write. Have a good day! ~Ella
