Some people think I’m a very obsessed Christian. I wouldn’t say that because I’m not obsessed. I just really really love God, and I like sharing my love for God with others. Sometimes, others don’t really like it when I share my love for God with them.
When I first met Julian, I thought I could introduce him to the love of my life as easy as eating pie. But, sometimes things don’t always go my way. I really didn’t expect him to want to go to that stupid party, but it felt like he decided to go just to make me mad.
I mean, I’m not his mother, and I don’t expect him to follow God’s lead so well because no one’s perfect, but it just kind of hurt my feelings the way he reacted.
Dear Diary,
Today was a rather interesting day. Julian decided to go to a party that I advised him not to go to. I really don’t understand why he wants to do those typical teenage things. I personally think parties are lame, and I love staying at home and reading my Bible. You know, spending time with God...so relaxing! But Julian seems to disagree with me ):
“Mom? Do you have any advice when it comes to boys? Like, how do you make them want to be themselves? I feel like Julian is trying to act like someone he isn’t?”
Some people feel like I make a big deal out of things, but I don’t. I’m just trying to become a better role model, and learn how to glorify God through everything I do.
I can’t blame anyone for judging me for the way I love God. People can be mean, but I know that what I’m believing in, and what I’m doing is all for the greater good. I know God has a lot of great plans for my life, and I’m excited to see them come to life.
I enjoy glorifying God, and I want Julian to feel the same way. Sometimes, I wish he felt the same way, but he doesn’t always feel the same way. It stinks, but I will learn to live with it.
So, this short story will be coming to an end soon. Expect another chapter of it by the end of the week. I'm sorry for the weird posting schedule, but I'm trying to get chapters of this out, and also post different blog posts. Look out for a different blog post tomorrow, and have a great rest of your day! ~Ella
