Choose Him

I'm already done with the little Bible study. I decided four days is enough, and I like the very last blog for it. Welcome to regular blog posts by me!

I'm guessing here, but I bet the first thing you did this morning was go on your phone. If you didn't go on your phone first thing this morning, good job! I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad here, so let me explain the meaning behind what I just wrote.

When you start your day on social media, seeing what the world has to offer you, you're pulling yourself farther away from the Holy Spirit. What the world has to offer you is not any bit as good as what God has to offer you. The world has to offer you comparison, negativity, sin, evil, vile things. I agree that some things in this world are good, and positive, but in my opinion, there's a whole lot of bad all around us. But you have the choice as I have hopefully written before to look towards God. Don't look at the world, but at God. At the end of the day, only God matters. Nothing else does. Life will be hard, but never something that you can't endure because God loves us. He is here for us, and He is waiting for us.

So, with all that being written, start your day off tomorrow by reading your Bible, or something that will encourage you, and make the choice to start your day off by being positive, and by spending time with God.
