Back-to-school series part one

I know not many people know about this blog yet, but I hope one days many people will. Not many people blog anymore which makes sense because there's TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and so many more platforms to use, but I don't see many blogs.

Today I wanted to start a back-to-school series because school is starting back next week for me. I don't care if anyone sees this, but I love to write, so I'm gonna write.

Today's topic is my back-to-school routine.

So, every morning I have an alarm set and I usually wake up around 5:20 every morning. In my opinion, it's super hard to wake up in the morning. So, once I'm awake, the first thing I have to do it get dressed and wash my face, then of course I'm going to feed my guinea pigs, and make my bed. Once I make it into the kitchen, I'll eat breakfast and check my phone. All the normal stuff. Then I'll brush my teeth, and get ready to go. One thing I want to add to my daily school routine is to read my devotional on the way to school. I use the Bible app, and I love reading devotionals on there. I try to read three devotionals everyday. So, I have a reminder set for 8:30 in the morning for my devotional, but since I'll be waking up earlier, I might need to change that. Anyway, I want to make time in the morning to read my devotional, and read God's Word. Starting off your day with God will help you to be ready for the day!

First, put on your belt of truth: Ephesians 6:14

Then, your breastplate of righteousness: Ephesians 6:14

Third, the gospel of peace: Ephesians 6:15

Next, the shield of faith: Ephesians 6:16

Then, put on the helmet of salvation: Ephesians 6:17

Last, but not least, get out the sword of the Spirit: Ephesians 6:17

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. -Ephesians 6:10-20

Thank you for reading part one of this back-to-school series. Stay tuned for part two which will be about trusting God through everything, even this school year. ~Ella
