My question for you today is: Would you seek revenge, or be the bigger person?
Hurting back the people who hurt you, makes you become just like them.
I answered this question the other day, and every time I look at that question I automatically think: I'm gonna be the bigger person. Then, I realized I want to be the bigger person, but I'm not always the bigger person. Here is how I wrote my answer in my journal:
Well, my original answer would be the bigger person, but then I realized that's what I want my answer to be. I want to be the bigger person. I'm not always the bigger person though, and a lot of the time I want to get even, or have the final word in an argument. My final answer is be the bigger person, but I'm not perfect and might sometimes do the exact opposite.
So, the question is: Seek revenge, or be the bigger person? I have given you my answer, now it's your turn. Think about it, and maybe write your final answer down somewhere where you will remember it.
