new year, new you

Twenty-twenty is coming to an end. I can agree we are probably all ready for a new year, and a time to start over. We are all ready to say good-bye to corona, but no matter what, we probably all need a chance to start over. Let's recap the year twenty-twenty:

According to New York post,

1. Australian bushfires

2. Covid-19 pandemic

3. Kobe Bryant's death

4. Stock market crash

5. Black Lives Matter protests

6. Biden becomes Democratic presidential nominee

7. Chadwick Boseman's death

8. West Coast wildfires

9. Trump test positive for Covid

10. Covid-19 vaccine

I don't know about you, but a lot of those things seem negative and sad. What happened to the best year ever? I can answer that question! God's not done yet. He's not. This year might have had a lot of bad things happen, but it also had some good things happen that the news might not have pointed out.

We're surrounded by sin after all, so you can't always expect everything to be positive.

As we approach a new year, let's find some ways to help others, and spread God's love! Let's be positive, and find ways to make ourselves happy! Let's embrace change, and His love!

You have the ability to change your thoughts and actions to love and kindness. Be humble, and spread God's love this year!

Here are some questions you can be thinking about as the new year approaches:

  1. How can I show God's love to others?

  2. How can I help others this year?

  3. What do I want to accomplish this year? What is my main goal?

  4. How can I take care of me this year?

You are special, beautiful, and you can do everything through Christ. (Philippians 4:13) Kickoff the new year with positive thoughts, and get excited for all God has planned for you! I'm so thankful for you, and I know you will spread God's love next year through many different ways! Go in peace. ~Ella
