Hey everyone and welcome back (or to) my blog! Today I wanted to switch things up a bit. I feel like I always write about topics that will make you feel better if you're having a bad day, but then I realized that it doesn't seem like I ever write anything for the days when you're happy and having a good day. So, that's what today's post is going to be about.
I feel like on the weekends I am confident in myself and happy about life, but then when the week starts, I feel like my confidence level goes down and my happiness level lowers a bit. (It depends on the day.)
Now, I don't know about you, but I hate not being confident and happy. I love it when I have days when I wake up as happy as and positive as I can be. I love days when I feel confident in myself and ready to take on the day no matter what happens.
This week, Tuesday was my favorite day because I woke up really happy. (I also saw a rainbow.) As I was riding to school, I was thinking about all the exciting things happening at the end of this year. For example, my room is being re-done, and it feels like it has been an eternity since I've been in my own room. My book is being published at the end of this year. There are more things I'm excited about, but those are the main ones at the moment.
So, how are you feeling? Was your day a good or bad one? Did you feel confident in yourself today?
I hope you had a good day today, but if you didn't....let's put ourselves in a positive mind set to have a better day tomorrow. I know sometimes school is tough, boring...you know...but we can all make it through this year if we try! It's annoying when I see people falling asleep in class, people who don't care at all. What's the point of even being at school if you're just going to sit there and sleep? You're basically just wasting the day.
I know no one really likes school, but we have to get through it. I look forward to graduating and having more time on my hands. It feels like there are so many things I want to do, things I enjoy, but because of school I never have enough time to do them.
All I have been having time for lately is practicing a little piano, maybe writing a blog post, watching a little of a show, and doing homework. Ughhh...speaking of homework I need to study for my Geometry test.
To end off today's blog post, I'm going to share some really good quotes. Let's get ourselves in a positive mindset for school tomorrow! Don't stay up late playing video games or scrolling on TikTok. Let's make tonight a good night where we actually get some rest. (I feel like everyone is too attached to their phones.)
-"Be proud of who you are today."
-"Depending on what they are, our habits will make or break us. We become what we repeatedly do." -Sean Covey
-"Strive for progress, not perfection."
-"Don't let your mind bully your body." -June Tomaso Wood
-"It is better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret."
-"It is so brave of you that every day you are choosing to keep going despite everything you have been through." -Dhiman
-"I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples." -Mother Theresa
-"A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action becomes reality."
-"You deserve to be happy. You deserve to live a life you are excited about. Don't let others make you forget that."
-"At any given moment you have the power to say: this is not how the story is going to end."
-"You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there."
-"Stop doubting yourself. Work hard ^not too hard^ and make it happen."
-"The only person you should try to better than is who you were yesterday."
I really hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. Is was kind of like a push to be happy. Ways to better yourself and have a better day.
Before I end this post, I also wanted to note that no matter what you have going on each day, you should always set some time aside for God.
At the beginning of this year, I felt so close to God. I would talk to him every night before going to bed, and I feel like I just read more of His Word period. But, I feel like as summer happened and school started, I've set Him aside for other things.
I spend all my time doing something else. And that's not okay.
So, today I'm going to put aside time to read the Live Original blog. I saw one that looked really good and it's been a while since I've read any blog posts from there.
What are you going to do today to put aside time for God? (In my opinion, God is more important than anything else that happens in your day. It doesn't matter how many things you have to do, please try to give God some time.) Note: God will always understand if you don't have enough time for Him, but it's important to spend some time with Him. I always feel more encouraged after spending time with Him, and maybe you will too. (:
(happy birthday c.s.)
