advice from pinterest

Hey everyone, and welcome back to The Quoted Blog! It feels like it's been forever since I've written a blog post. Yesterday's blog post was a recap of this past week's podcast episode. (That was a really good episode about why prayer is important if you want to go check it out! https://linktr.ee/ellacatherine)

Today, I'm going to share advice from Pinterest. If you didn't know, I love Pinterest! There is so much good advice, and so many good quotes on there. I hope you enjoy today's blog post!!

-God isolates before He elevates. He has to prepare you for your new season. It may seem like you lost friendships and relationships, but they cannot go with you in this next season.

-Where you are a year from now is a reflection of the choices you choose to make right now.

-God found Gideon in a hole. He found Joseph in a prison. He found Daniel in a lion's den. He has a curious habit of showing up in the midst of trouble, not the absence. Where the world sees failure, God sees future. Next time you feel unqualified to be used by God remember this, He tends to recruit from the pit, not the pedestal.

-If you find that your mind wanders while you're praying, maybe you should pray about what your mind keeps wandering to." (I needed to read that.)

-Somewhere, someone is praying for you. You are everything they're looking for. Wait for that person. Wait for the one who is praying for you.

-If you have the chance to make people happy, just do it. Sometimes people are struggling silently. Maybe, your act of kindness can make their day.

-You don't have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.

-If the sea couldn't stop Moses; If a wall couldn't stop Joshua; If a giant couldn't stop David; If death couldn't stop Jesus; Then in Christ, nothing can stop you.

-You have a big heart if you treat people kindly despite them hurting you.

And that's going to conclude today's blog post. I really hope these quotes helped you where you're at right now. These quotes are such an encouragement! Thanks so much for reading and have a great rest of your day!! ~Ella

(By the way, this week's piano cover is I Am Not Alone by Kari Jobe. It's a good one so you don't want to miss it!!)
