So, if you have been around reading my blog posts and such for a while, you would know that my favorite YouTuber in the whole world is Annie Rose. She's so nice, her videos are so good, and I just love watching her channel.
Maybe like two years ago, Annie started writing songs and came out with her first one in 2019. It's called I Think You're Lying. And, if you have a chance, go watch the music video for this song because it's so incredible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW9PeK77ebA
ANYWAY, Annie released her second song Hug in 2019 as well. Then, in February of 2020, Love For Me...followed by By Your Side, Without Thinking, and then, finally, Goodbye.
After that, Annie took a year to write more songs, and just become more confident in what she was writing. (It sounds like I know her personally, but I really just know all of this from watching her YouTube channel and following along with it these past couple of years.)
Sooooo....after all of that explaining, here's the point I was trying to get at.
Annie Rose is an amazing songwriter. She shared two other songs in a YouTube video a year ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vexn4l5fU64&t=250s) that sounded so good...the lyrics and Annie's voice.
I have been waiting all this time for a new song from her, and I'm extremely excited about Idrk.
One last thing, then I promise you can listen to the cover...
I can't sing as good as Annie. Therefore, I have not been able to do a cover on any of her other songs. Believe me, I've tried, but my voice is just nottttt itttttt. So, somehow I feel like I can actually sing this song lol. (And singing is something I like to do for fun, but only when I'm playing piano or listening to a song, so I'm not trying to sound all "I wish I could sing like Olivia Rodrigo...." Ya know? Okay, I think you get it. Now, this is my cover of Idrk by Annie Rose.
